We are proud to be part of God's redeeming work in the world
Whether you're hungry, hurting, or searching for answers, you're always welcome in our church family. We endeavor to provide a supportive environment where people can come and seek salvation, so that they can know Jesus. As we invest in the community of Baldwin County, we pray that our church becomes a beacon of hope, spreading the love of Christ locally and around the world.”
We hold firm to the belief that the Bible serves as the ultimate guide for all Christians, offering God's timeless message to humanity. Its inspired words transcend cultures and generations, providing unfailing wisdom and direction. We regard the Bible as the infallible, holy standard by which we measure our faith and conduct. Our interpretation of God's Word leans towards a literal understanding, accepting its truths as faithfully recorded. This perspective leads us to affirm that every miracle and supernatural event described in Scripture, from the creation of the universe and man in Genesis to the events foretold in Revelation, is to be taken as true. We stand by the accounts of the Flood and the ark, the feeding of the 5,000, the parting of the Red Sea, and numerous healings, believing they occurred as documented. Moreover, we anticipate the fulfillment of the events outlined in Revelation in the near future.
God
God is the perfect Creator and Ruler of the Universe. He has eternally existed as Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1,26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit helps us realize that we need God's salvation through the death of Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives the followers of Christ the power to live, to understand spiritual truth, and to guide us to do the right things. We strive to live under the direction of the Holy Spirit daily. 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18; Galatians 5:25
Jesus Christ
Jesus is a man and a God at the same time. The sinless human life, the execution and death of Jesus on the cross form the perfect sacrifice for the sins of every person. Jesus rose from the dead (that is, the "resurrection") after three days to show His power over the sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return to earth again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13
The Bible
The Bible is the source of God's Word for us, inspired by God and written by people under the supernatural direction of the Holy Spirit. This is the ultimate fountain of truth for life. This is our main authority for faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16, 1:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 119:160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; Psalm 19:7-11; Matthew 24:35
Salvation
We can never indemnify our sin and contumacy through self-improvement or good deeds. Only by accepting the free gift of God's forgiveness through the death and resurrection of Jesus can everyone be saved from eternal punishment for sin: Hell. Salvation starts at the moment when we recognize our need and believe that Jesus Christ is the payment for our sins. Romans 6:23, 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26
Our Humanity
People are created by God in His spiritual image so that they were similar to Him in character; we are the highest object of His creation. Although each human being has great potential for good, we are all clouded by the attitude of contumacy toward God, which is called "sin." This sets us apart from God and causes numerous problems in our lives. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2
"At Bibleway Assembly, we are a collective group of believers passionate about following Jesus Christ and fulfilling His mission in the world. Rooted in the belief that worshiping God is not just an event but a way of life, we strive to live out our faith in every aspect of our existence.".
Worship Centered on Jesus Christ
Our worship is centered on Jesus Christ, the source of our salvation and the cornerstone of our faith. We understand the paramount importance of worshiping God in spirit and truth (John 4:24). As believers, we embrace the full sufficiency of Scripture, allowing God's Word to guide us in every aspect of our live
Family-Centered Community
Within our church family, we cultivate a culture of love, respect, and support, echoing the principles of fellowship outlined in 1 Peter 3:8. We recognize the importance of accountability and encouragement as we journey together in faith. Indifferent faith is not our goal; instead, we strive to spur one another on towards deeper intimacy with God, surrendering every aspect of our lives to Him.
Mission-Focused Outreach
As a community, we are committed to sharing the transformative message of Jesus Christ with the world, in alignment with the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19. Guided by the call to evangelize as stated in 2 Timothy 4:5, we actively seek opportunities to reach out to those who have yet to experience the life-changing love of Christ. Our mission extends beyond the walls of our church as we seek to demonstrate God's compassion and mercy to those in need, both locally and globally.
